Our Story

Welcome to Reach Out Caring! We are a Day service for adults with learning disabilities, opened in February 2021. Reach Out is a work based, proficiencies centre set in rural Hampshire just outside of Eastleigh. We pride ourselves in giving person centred, quality care for Adults with learning disabilities, specialising in Autism, Down syndrome and mental health.

Our goal is to create a safe and calm working space for individuals to come and experience activities such as; Farming, Animal care, Woodwork, Equine Management, Horticulture, Mechanics and up-cycling. We work with our individuals using a variety of techniques including ABA/TEACHH/PECS to achieve the best results.

Each individual is valued, appreciated and allowed to express their creative tendencies. No idea too big and no dream is too small, with lots of structured, person centred activities going on every day, Reach out is the place to be to find what makes you, you!

My son absolutely LOVES the farm, his face each day when he comes home is a picture of smiles, he shows me all the days photos of his & his mates hard work for the day, he enjoys cleaning the animals out feeding the animals woodwork cooking and moping the floor!! And the occasional water hose pipe fight, He has a fantastic relationship with all the users & especially the family that run Reach out caring, they are the most amazing family along with the other workers too, they are all so good with the users, I can get on with my day knowing Callum is happy, being well cared for and most importantly Callum is learning life skills, he has learned so much in such a short time, and has become more confident within himself and that's thanks to the staff at Reach out caring, I can't thank them enough for coming along at the right time, I would most definitely recommend this day service.
